Andrew The Vampire King

Backstory
Andrew was a world-weary twenty-one-year-old without any parents or anywhere to rest his head when he was turned into a vampire by the evil bloodsucker Mordred more than two thousand years from now. The ancient vampire saw potential in the downtrodden youth as a ruler of his country, and happily laid back while his angered young pupil slaughtered many innocents, only leaving children (Andrew wanted them to the same suffering he had so many years earlier) and only a few new vamps. It soon became a matter of time before the old vampire made Andrew king of all the vampires in the world so that he can lie back and watch the younger one bring misery to all mere mortals.

It wasn't to be though; Andrew became depressed and lonely in the ugly, decrepit old castle he still resides in, in the parallel universe where all fantastical creatures thrive, and his blood intake decreased from half a village to just two mortals a night. One day, however, he heard singing while slumbering in his bedroom, looked out of window into the gloomy, foggy day, and found his future life partner Akela bringing several plants to life with his beautiful song.

Andrew felt uplifted, which was a first, seeing his horrible home into a rather lovely refuge as the plants covered the foul mould and hideous gargoyles that leered from all available corners of the castle. He and Akela didn't exactly have a pleasant introduction when they first met, but when Andrew assured the young elf that he meant no harm, they soon became accustomed to one another, and even sooner, they fell in love.

With the converted Akela by his side, Andrew still brings a lot of misery to mere mortals, made even worse that his partner also hates humans, although they have adopted a lot of children, orphaned or not.
